Parque Monumento Nacional Bariay

The Bariay National Monument Park offers visitors a quick glimpse of Cuban history. The memorial, consisting of enormous Doric columns by the local sculptress Caridad Ramos, marks the arrival of Christopher Columbus in 1492 to Bariay. There is also a replica of a Spanish fort, an aboriginal village and a museum.
